Alien Ant Farm was formed in 1996 by the four current members. After playing various
venues and self-releasing their independent debut, Greatest Hits, word spread about the
band and were signed to New Noize/ Dreamworks in 1999. Their successful single debut, a cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, made their major label debut an instant success. They toured Europe relentlessly and returned to the studio in mid-2002. |
