Four teenagers from Birmingham, England, came together to form a band that was to be the
real start to the heavy metal scene. They started off as a jazz-blues band called Polka
Tulk, later, Earth. They went on to be the most influential band of all time, influencing Iron Maiden and Metallica who are also considered to be highly influential bands. The band split after 1978 and Ozzy went on to become a successful solo artist. |
