Cradle Of Filth was formed in 1991 by Danny Davey and two others, and recorded a demo as a
quintet (one guitarist) a year later, after which, another guitarist was added. After many lineup changes, the band released a full length EP which greatly expanded their cult following. The band are one of a small few british black metal bands, and signed to Sony in 2001, showing that the band was not just a group of young goths looking to strengthen their image. |
