Norwegian black metallers Dimmu Borgir came together in 1993 as a three
piece but after becoming a five-piece, released a 7" single which sold out, inspiring
the band to record a full length. They released For All Tid in 1994, which got them some much needed publicity outside Norway. The release of 2000's Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia was a legendary release in black metal history and were due to tour the U.S. with Napalm Death but cancelled due to Sep. 11. |
