Hoobastank formed in 1994 in California, home town of their friends, Incubus, and after
hooking up with drummer Hesse, finally became a four-piece. Their sound is similiar to
Incubus and Faith No More, but are one of the few young metal bands that don't sing about
being angry. They toured relentlessly to countries like Brazil, through to Europe and released their self-titled debut in 2001. They have toured with Incubus and gained a loyal following with help from MTV. |
