The band formed from bassist "Fieldy" Arvizu and three friends, who originally
named themselves LAPD, but changed it to KoRn upon the arrival of vocalist Davis. They had
a slightly gothic sound before moving to the funk-metal sound that made them the idols of
many teenagers. They opened for bands such as Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson before headlining the Lollapalooza tour. Davis was responsible for composing the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack, while Fieldy has released a solo hip-hop album. Their latest album, Untouchables, was the most expensive album ever made, at an estimated $4,000,000 |
