P.O.D. was formed in San Diego in 1993 by Curiel, Bernado and Daniels. Frontman Sandoval
had just quit college to look after his younger siblings after his mother died when his
cousin, Bernado, asked him to be vocalist for their band. They were signed to Atlantic Records in 1998 and gained publicity by featuring in Ozzfest 2000 and the MTV Campus Invasion tour. |
