After leaving Sepultura in 1996, frontman Cavalera founded Soulfly almost immediately but
suffered heavy criticism and generated many enemies who wanted him to fail, and aswell as
the pressure from this, his stepson, Dana, was killed. Aswell as having enemies, he became a sought after speaker at music conventions. The release of the 2000 album, Primitive, was criticised for featuring too many guests. However, he went on to record a much thought out album, named '3'. |
