Staind was formed by vocalist Lewis and guitarist Mushok at
a Christmas Party in New England in 1993. They self released their debut and sold 2000
copies and in 1997, they supported Limp Bizkit where the frontman Durst argued over
Staind's cover art for their album but wanted to help them after he saw their live show. Their second major label release, Break The Cycle, stayed at No. 1 in the U.S. charts for 6 weeks during 2001. |
