Casualty simulation is a craft which we try to get every cadet trained up in.  It involves the application of make-up to simulate wounds and fractures.

A Proficiency Scheme was established a few years ago, which allows cadets to get a certificate for any hobby or pastime.  Once a cadet obtains ten proficiency certificates, the Director of the Ambulance Corps will present them with the "Director's Badge" which is the highest award a cadet can achieve.

Mervue Cadets meet every Saturday night at 6.00 pm in Mervue and meetings last for one hour.  They also have further meetings where they practice and train for competitions, casualty simulation and home nursing.  Fur further information, feel free to Contact Us.
