Great Grandfather Timy (O') Regan married Ellen (O') Driscoll of Ballineen, Enniskeane, County Cork. They were married in Enniskeane Church on the 14th February 1857

Ellen Driscoll, born in June 1837 to Cornelius Driscoll and Ellen Crowley, was 20 years of age when she married Timmy Regan.

According to the Parish of Enniskeane register they had 7 children:

Julia Baptised - 22 November 1859

John - 1861

Cornelius Baptised 16 June 1865 (Sponsors - Thomas Driscoll and Julia Regan)- died 1865

Daniel - Baptised 24 July1863. Daniel may have joined the British Army in India as a private soldier and retired to 36 Tyrone Place, Cork. (Wife Edith, Children - Ellen, Daniel, Timothy and Thomas)

Peter, my grandfather, baptised 20 August 1866 - 1954 (married to Bridget O'Connor, Beaufort, Co Kerry on 11.02.1896 - Transferred immediately to New Inn, Co. Galway for 1 year and spent the rest of their lives in Athenry, Co Galway - first in Old Church St and later in St. Ethna's Swangate)

Thomas baptised 22 /?/ 1870 (Sponsors Ml Lordan and Mgt Lordan) (Note on the register - Married Margaret Wood? Blackrock? Cork City 1925)

Mary Baptised 12 January 1874. (Sponsors Peter Regan and Ellen Driscoll)

When Timmy died, circa 1880, Ellen moved to No 8 Paul St., Cork City and her sons were in school in The North Monastery.
