- The Summer Inter-firm League will kick off this Tuesday (23rd May) at Farren Forest Park. As usual, start times will be from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. For those of you who are not familiar with the league, it consists of a fun event with team (inter-firm) competition. On each Tuesday evening, there will be one course (3.5 km to 5.5 km) available with premarked maps. The league is suitable for all the family, including beginners, irrespective of fitness levels. The emphasis is on a fun evening out in the woods, although competition can be fierce between the top orienteers and runners. It is a great opportunity to get some air, get fit, go on a works outing, etc. There is no pre-entry required; just turn up on the night and if necessary, experienced people will show you the ropes!
Inter-Firm League: Open, Female and Mixed Categories, 3 to count per team, but any number can compete, 6 events to count in the overall league. Prizes also for best individuals. So come along and bring your friends and colleagues!!

- Due to a clash of events, the Munster League event in Banna Sand Dunes which was scheduled to be held on the 21st May will now be held a week earlier on the 14th May.However, due to some access difficulties, it is not possible for me amend the current on-line fixtures list appropriately at present. Therefore, please disregard the old date for the event which is still displayed under the fixtures link.
- Interfirm League 2000 - Following the huge success of last years league, it looks like there will be a record number of firms battling it out this Summer!!!
