2002 News Archive
December 2002
- The New Years Day walk this year will start at 12pm from the entrance to Muckross National Park in Killarney. The route will depend on the weather on the day. As per usual, all are welcome to come along!
- Don't forget to come along to the Christmas fun event this year - 27th December at Currabinny Wood!

November 2002
October 2002
- Our next event is on Sunday November 3rd at Rathgaskig in Ballingeary. To get to the event travel 5 miles from Macroom on the main Killarney
road to 'Mons Bar' (previously Halfway house) and turn left at the O-sign.
Follow this road for 9.5 miles to the next O-sign (a left turn)
and the event is 1 mile further on. Start times are from 12 - 2pm.
Short distance courses are available for both beginners and advanced orienteers.
- The Shamrock O-Ringen 2003 is to go ahead... It has been decided to base the event in the Glengarriff and Ballingeary areas (new maps) in early June 2003.
September 2002
- The new Autumn Interfirm League will kick off at Corrin Hill on September 3rd...
- The Cork-O orienteering fixtures for the rest of the year are now online!

- It's here at last!!! The 2002 inter-firm league kicks off on the 14th May at Farran Wood. For further information, click the 'IFL-2002' link opposite.
