Manorhamilton: In Co. Leitrim. The 1995 Connaught Champs. will be held in a forest near here. I don't know tha name of the forest yet. The entry form describes the area as mature and young forest with some open mountain and pasture.

Muckross: A fantastic area (not overly complex) overlooking the Lakes of Killarney. To get there, drive to Killarney and take the road out to Muckross House. The event will be signposted from the main road near the national park. Grid reference V 965 845.
Mullaghmeen: A beautiful, mainly decidious forest in Westmeath. It is at its best in Late Spring/Early Summer when the wild flowers are in bloom. It is also very good in Autumn when the leaves turn brown. This map comes highly recommended. To get there isn't easy. Drive to Mullingar. From there take the R394 to Castlepollard. From there take the Oldcastle road (R395) and follow the O-signs. Grid reference N 47 78.
