Origin
“to boldly go” was the first release from the Origin Records label. It
was recorded in December 1998 at Black Rose Studios in Galway. The eight
artists who took part deserve credit for “boldly going” where others feared
to tread. The atmosphere at the recording sessions was unique and this
comes out in all 16 album tracks.

album received very favourable reviews from Hot Press magazine, the Sunday
Times, the Sunday World, the Star and was well received by the media in
Galway. The album also featured extensively on Radio 1, 2FM and local radio
stations all over Ireland. The album was launched in Roisin Dubh on Feb
4th when a capacity crowd of enthused music lovers from all over Ireland
attended.
