In the Masters Shadow

Prool Cost: 1gp to nothing.

These henchmen are less then gifted in the brain department ( if they had one brain cell it would die of loneliness ). Prools are drawn from the village fools or deformed out casts from society. They work for little or no monitory gain. Instead they bask in the reflected glory and power of their masters and keep close to them for safety. The Master gains a loyal, unquestioning henchman whose sacrafice is boundless on their behalf. Some Prools can gain cantrip abilities when they have given long service ( typically 20 years ).

The Seeker Cost: Indentured to 500gp max per month.

This specialist was origionally a Wizards apprentice but he failed to graduate ( have you ever thought about what happens to those of below par INT scores? ). The failure of the apprentice to graduate higher at a later stage leaves him/her indentured to his master for the time wasted. The master has many needs but these can be fulfilled by lesser men. The failed apprentice however has knowledge of spell components. The Master will employ him to seek out and gather the rare components such as unicorn horn, tiger teeth etc etc,. Many Seekers work beyond the term of their indenture gaining great rewards for their endevour. Some even fund their own expeditions to far off places to gain stocks to sell on, although this is rare.
