INNY RIVER

 

 

River Inny Lower

Location:

County Westmeath.

Species:

Brown Trout (Salmon, Pike, Bream, Roach).

Information:

The river Inny is described as a mixed fishery it still holds good stocks of Wild Brown
Trout in some sections. The River, over 55 miles long, rises near Oldcastle, Co. Meath
and flows west to join Lough Ree. Trout average 3/4lbs. (The lower Inny).

Angling Regulations:

Brown Trout:
Open Season: 1st March to 30th September.
Size Limit: 10 inches.
Angling Method: All legal methods.
Bag Limit: 6 Trout.


Bank fishing only.
