Barry joined Dublin Youth Theatre in 1990. While with D.Y.T. he wrote and directed two one-act plays. In 1995 Barry worked as Assistant Producer on Buddleia by Paul Mercier (Passion Machine). Television work includes two episodes of the Time Out series which he directed for R.T.E., and his own short film Entering The Whirlpool. He has worked with Pale Mother on their productions of Fear And Misery, The Mother and Snakeskin. Future projects include a series of half-hour radio dramas to be broadcast in September 2000 for Tallaght Community Radio. Barry works as Training Officer with the Dublinia heritage project.
