Clare worked as the makeup artist with Pale Mother on their previous production of Snakeskin in 1997. She is a novice in the PR field, The Good Room being her first encounter with the world of publicity.

Clare works as a freelance translator, and has in the past translated some of the evidence used at the U.N. Tribunal for War Crimes in the Former Yugoslavia, taking place in The Hague.
