The Good Room tells the intriguing story of a refugee's encounter with an Irish family who are attempting to come to terms with the disappearance of their only son. The drama parallels the lives of an Irish mother and a Bosnian refugee, both sharing a sense of loss and dislocation, both searching for an escape from personal grief. It is the meeting of these two divergent worlds that offers a glimmer of hope for the future.

The Good Room is the first play from Pale Mother's Artistic Director, Helen Casey, who has directed all of their previous productions. The play is directed by Helen Casey and Barry Casey and is designed by Ruth Miggin.

Cast includes: Una McNulty, Patrick O'Donnell, Derek Reid, Frank Smith & Marko Zeljković.
