Sport: The main sporting events of the festival are the Comogie blitz which can feature up to 80 teams from all over Ireland in battle for the panceltic title in this ladies hurling event, An Interceltic golf is a regular feature at the festival, Pan Celtic has also contributed to the ties between the Irish Hurling game and Scotish Shinty, played with compromise rules, and many a hard fought match has taken place over the years for the international Pan Celtic Title.

This year's camogie blitz promises to be just as exciting as last year's when many camogie teams converged for the much sought after title of Pan Celtic champions.
Each county on the island of Ireland will be represented by eager and enthusiastic exponents of the game.
