Carrick-on-Shannon Festival Committee To whom it may concern, Each year considerable resources and efforts are expended in organizing an annual festival in Carrick-on-Shannon, which is a hugely popular event in the county with both tourists and natives. This year's festival was an even more special event as we were celebrating the first festival of the new millennium. Twelve months planning went into making sure that the festival would be one to remember. We had to make sure the entertainment would be of premium quality and would have a broadly based appeal. We also had to implement a very detailed plan to ensure that all events would run smoothly and that the festival would be able to cope with the huge influx of people into our town. We knew we could rely on the extremely professional services of Party Disc Jockies both to create a great party atmosphere and to operate seamlessly within the organizational structures in place. We therefore booked Party Disc Jockies to work their magic at the Traffic Lights Disco on Thursday night. We also entrusted them to create the right party atmosphere on the big night, Sunday, which is the high point of the festival. Party Disc Jockies worked tirelessly all day to bring the streets of Carrick alive and really excelled themselves in building the crowd up to the firework display which is the highlight of the festival (Garda sources estimated that a crowd of seven to nine thousand people were in attendance). Party Disc Jockies not only know how to get an audience going, they also understand exactly what it takes to ensure the success of such a large event as this. Throughout the weekend they worked efficiently and discreetly, taking a lot of pressure from the organizers.
