Since 1865 the Passionists have had the care of the Parish of St. Mungo, Townhead, Glasgow. In 1999 the adjacent Parish of St. Stephen, Sighthill was united to it.
Everyday day at morning, noon and evening the Christian community gathers in St. Mungo's Church for prayer.
Within the parish are three schools - St. Mungo's Primary, Parson St., St. Stephen's Primary, Pinkston Drive and St. Kevin's School, Fountainwell Rd.
St. Mungo's Day Centre is located in the parish hall at 31 McAslin St. Here meals, classes, and other opportunities are available for retired adults. Special care is provided for stroke and dementia suffers.
The Youth Group (ages 16-25) organise a monthly Sunday evening Youth Mass. Their other activities include work with the Simon Community's late night kitchen and participation in various World Youth Days.
