Irish poet Pat Boran is the author of poetry and short fiction for adults and children, as well as four non-fiction titles.
His latest publication is New and Selected Poems, originally published in 2005 and reissued with minor revisions in November 2007 by the Dedalus Press. Other recent books include the anthology Wingspan: A Dedalus Sampler and the expanded and updated edition of his popular writers' handbook, The Portable Creative Writing Workshop.

Pat Boran was Programme Director of the Dublin Writers Festival for many years and recently stepped down as presenter of The Poetry Programme on RTÉ Radio 1 (visit the RTÉ website and follow the links to the archived shows) in order to concentrate on his own writing and his work as Editor of the Dedalus Press.
