As a family celebration Lismore Dramatic Society is undertaking a Street Pageant which will show the many historical facets of the town and country down through the age.

Our tableaux includes FionnMac Cumhaill and his warriors, monks and nuns with St. Carthage, Vikings and Normans, medieval Lismore (Sir Walter Raleigh, Richard Boyle and his son Robert Boyle) Famine times and Arthur Kiely Ushher and his starving tenants.

The Parade will also include the Booley House Dancers, musians and visiting European musicians.
