Medjugorje.
In June 1981 six young children, living up in the mountains about ten miles from the ancient town of Mostar in Bosnia Hertzgovinia, experienced the first of many supernatural experiences, apparitions, warnings, secrets and messages from Mary the Mother of Jesus under her title of Our Lady Queen of Peace.

"Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit.
I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call."

"Dear children! Do not forget that you are here on earth on the way to eternity and that your home is in Heaven.
That is why, little children, be open to God's love and leave egoism and sin. May your joy be only in discovering God in daily prayer.That is why, make good use of this time and pray, pray, pray; and God is near to you in prayer and through prayer.
Thank you for having responded to my call."

"Dear children!
Today I call you to prayer. The one who prays is not afraid of the future. Little children do not forget, I am with you and I love you all. Thank you for having responded to my call."

THE STORY CONTINUED... Although the visionaries, all now adults claim that these apparitions and the messages they have received are genuine, and many ordinary pilgrims have claimed to have experienced various supernatural experiences both internal and external, during the last 19 years, the Catholic Church still errs on the side of caution as is her tradition over such matters......
Although most of
the visionaries no longer claim to be receiving messages from the
Blessed Mother, all except three have been given secrets about
future events which are to ta
ke place in the world which will prove to
humankind that God really exists.
Although the many of the hundreds of messages received by the visionaries over the years the majority appear to be of a simplistic, almost childlike content, indeed Our lady constantly refers to us all, as children, or little children, and just as a good mother never tires of warning her children to be careful of danger, to behave, to know right from wrong, so Our Heavenly Mother tries to help her earthly children to do the same with their lives.
Nearly 20 years later on the 25th of every month the messages are still continuing constantly reminding humankind to 'Pray more...Read the Bible.....We must fast ....We must convert and repent for our sins....We must go to confession regularly...... We must pray the rosary...We must try to lead good lives.....We must forgive.....We must love our enemies..........We must obey the Commandments of God'.....
Kiely visited Medjugorje, four times during the 1990s, as well as editing a special fund raising video which raised over 20,000 dollars for relief aid, and taking a lorry load of medicines at the height of the war, to neighbouring Mostar an ancient Bosnian town with a high Moslem population, which was devastated during the war.......Why did I go there at such a time of danger (I am no hero) find out over the next few weeks......
