THE DOWNS GAA NOTES

Lucky Numbers draw:

There was no winner of the IR£1900 jackpot in the Lucky Numbers for the week-ended 8^th January. Numbers drawn were 5, 9, 20 & 23.

£50 prize-winners were Colm Corroon and Marie Martin, Van Nelle.

We thank The Cloughan Inn for hosting the draw.

Scor Committee Meeting:

We will be holding a scor committee meeting in the Clubhouse on Thursday night next, 18^th January at 8.00.

Underage Meeting:

There will be a very important underage meeting on Friday week at 8.30. All people involved with underage teams within the club should attend. Any parents who would like to get involved are also welcome.

Ceili:

The club will be holding an afternoon Ceili on Sunday Week January 28^th in the Centre.

The Ceili will run from 4 until 7 with the music being provided by The Glenside Ceili Band.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Finch family, Clongowney opn their recent bereavement. We also extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the Late Kathleen Brogan (nee Corroon), formerly of Curraghmore,
