  • Preparing technical specifications for all interior finishes, carpets, wall coverings, curtains, furniture and bedding

 

  • Providing samples (for approval by Philip Treacy) of custom-made wallpapers, carpets, curtains and furniture fabrics

 

  • Coordinating product orders (liaising with the manufacturers and the hotel management team)

 

  • Working closely with the architects Douglas Wallace on the design of all custom-made furniture including beds, bedside tables, desks and fridge units

 

  • Collaborating on the development of the manufacturing of door handles and light fittings designed by Philip Treacy (This was a 15-month process)

 

  • Advising Philip Treacy on the final selection of upholstery and curtain fabrics (to ensure that they would comply with the statutory Fire Regulations and that they would be sufficiently durable for use in a contract environment)
