P.E. Services, Ireland's leading manufacturer of tanker access systems, have recently designed a new top loading tanker maintenance and access platform, which allows the operator to work at the tanker height without risk of serious injury. All platforms are ATEX approved to directive 94/9EC (areas of which, are considered to have high combustible ratings).

The platform is primarily pneumatically operated and incorporates a variety of fail-safe features, which include; interlocks, speed control, automatic locking devices and 'tilt' feature for access on to sloping type barrel tankers.
