About Me

My name is Peter O'Brien, and I have just finished my degree at Trinity College, Dublin. I studied Economics and Sociology, which many would find a strange combination, but I found gave me an insight into two very different areas. I am taking a year off, this year and will spend most of the year in London and Berlin.

Travelling is a big favourite of mine and I have been to many different countries from America to Holland and the Czech Republic and Poland and Belgium and Canada and Germany  and Sweden and so on.

In 2000 I went on a Socrates programme which was held in  in Lund, which is in the South of Sweden. The course was one which specialised  in European Labour Markets and consisted of students and lecturers from six different countries.

This Summer I'm off to London and then in October, Myself and Roisín are off to Berlin

Final Year was quite tough and a lot of work went into it. In sue course I shall put up my dissertation, including an online resource page.

Another good friend of mine has however taken the time to do a wee report on our times in Boston. (We, by the way, was myself, Clive, Vee, Fintan and Aunt Edel)

I had a great time in Sweden. To commemorate the time that we all had together, we decided to work on a website (click on the flag below)
