Schull Planetarium is always glad to welcome group bookings, and has developed considerable expertise in ensuring that such shows are enjoyed to the fullest possible extent. The Planetarium auditorium has fire and safety clearance for up to 70 people, and every effort will be made to accomodate groups up to that limit. Group audiences have ranged, in the past, from Spanish school children to experienced University Astronomy societies. Our rate of satisfaction among departing groups is very high. We always appreciate being imformed of any special needs, or desires at the time of booking, and always go the extra mile to ensure that the show presented is accessible to all, and appropriate to the level of our audience. The Planetarium has also proved a popular destination for school tours, and our younger audiences are fully catered for. The Planetarium is very happ to take groups of children - as the only planetarium in the Republic of Ireland, we feel a definate responsability to educate and interest the young in astronomy.
