Eden

Meeting House Square Temple Bar Dublin 2
Phone (01) 6705372
Fax (01) 6703330

Eden offers contemporary chic with old-fashioned comfort. Made almost entirely from glass, with a chic patio complete with awning, Eden looks out on Meeting House Square and the cultural and architectural regeneration that is Temple Bar.

The perfect place to while away your days and evenings, its cool brand of sophistication is the ideal treat from the dark intimacy of the average restaurant interior; its white and turquoise signature tones providing the light, airy ambience needed to keep the temperature down on heady nights.

Eden offers Irish contemporary cuisine at its best. Credibility comes at last to good old black pudding, spuds and soda bread. With imagination and flair, Eden's cuisine combines the home grown with a host of other flavors and it is an admirable showcase for some of Irelands finest produce. Choose from a menu that includes Duck liver crostini on herb soda bread with a tarragon cream or sample baked goats cheese in filo pastry with roasted peppers, basil, mixed leaves and red pepper coulis - see what we mean. The menu changes daily.

Snipes is a small, intimate restaurant nestled in the heart of old Georgian Dublin and is one of the locations used in filming "The Ambassador", a hit B.B.C series. A family run restaurant, Snipes is dedicated to providing customer satisfaction. We do this by cooking only the freshest ingredients and providing the most genuine of welcomes.

Whether you come to warm yourself at our open fire and linger over coffee, or need a quick bite before the theatre we shall be happy to welcome a strange face.

We serve a wide range of interesting and exciting dishes with an emphasis on fresh fish and game when in season. Our specialities include rack of lamb served with a sauce of fresh mint and mustard.

Meanwhile, Barabarrie Duck served on caramelised red onion is always a popular choice and our fresh Dublin Bay Prawns or Black Sole offer a lighter alternative to entice you. We also serve steaks, veal, and vegetarian meals among other dishes. The restaurant can be booked in its entirety for parties over thirty.
