Sports in Scoil Íosagáin
Junior School:
Children in the Junior School enjoy sports. They have a large yard, a playing field and a hall. The teachers make use of hoola hoops bean bags football cones and a mini basketball set when teaching P.E to the classes.
Senior School:
Boys and girls take part in sports. In school we play football hurling soccer basketball and volley ball. Mr. Moloney coaches us in hurling and football. Miss English , Mrs. O'Hanlon and Mrs Costello help out with basketball coaching also. This year the boys and girls are taking part in the South Limerick School League in football and hurling. We are playing in Division A. Boys and girls will take part in Division A of the South Limerick Basketball League.
In the senior school, we have a basketball court, a playing field and two yards in which to play games. We have plenty of basketball, football, hurleys and helmets. We have a volley ball net, goalposts and orange cones. We all enjoy sports in our school.
