Presentation Primary School

Presentation Primary School is the main girls primary school in Bandon Town. The School, with an adjacent playing pitch is situated on the Dunmanway Road to the northside of the town. The current school dates from 1973. The historical roots of the school go back to 1829, when Catherine O'Neill and her mother from Skibbereen built a convent, from which Catherine who became a Presentation Sister started a school for girls.
