The new generation of vertical lathes and vertical lathe-machining centers SKA size 12,16,20,25 and 30. 

These vertical lathes are required to perform high precision and efficient turning, drilling, milling and grinding operations.

The primary advantage in this machine is the flexible automatic tool changer. Tools are stored in either a disk or chain magazine (depending upon number of tools required - 8,31,56 or 96 tools). This machine allows for the storage and automatic tool exchange of many different types of live and turning toolholders. The turning holders can be any combination of 40 x 40 mm, Sandvik Capto C6 or C8, Kennametal KM 63 or 80 and Widia Valenite UT 63. The rotary tools can be ISO 50 (40), CAT 50 (40), HSK 100 or Capto C5.

The patent has been applied for and is pending on this new and modern tool exchange system.
