"The Purple Heather B&B" is on the inner Ring of Kerry beneath Irelandīs highest Mountains and over looks spectacular countryside. We are the ideal location for viewing many of the local areas, including the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, the Beara Peninsula, the Gap of Dunloe, and so on. The local region claims some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland including the Lakes of Killarney, Killarney Town, Killarney national park, Dingle Town and the Dingle Peninsula, the Beara Peninsula, the Gap of Dunloe, Kenmare Town, Tralee Town, Castleisland Town, Glenbeigh & Rossbeigh, and so on.
 For the avid golfer there is a choice of magnificent Golf Courses including the Dunloe Golf Course, the Killarney Golf Course, the Beaufort Golf Course and the Castlerosse Golf Course. Other leisure activities include horse riding, fishing, walking, mountain climbing, and so on. The local beach is less than 30 minutes drive. There is also a superb choice of restaurants, pubs and entertainment facilities nearby.
