One day we discovered a surprise visitor at the back of our school. She caused much excitement. Last year the local council introduced some ducks to the Rampart river and we think she wandered over from there. She liked our school that much that she decided to build her nest in our back field. She hatched nine ducklings and we had great fun watching them.
