The idea that there is a correlation between geometry and the sacred buildings and texts of various traditions.   Cubic dimensions are present in buildings such as the Greek altar at Delphi, the chapel of the Egyptian goddess Leteo at Buto, the Holy of Holies in the temple of Solomon, the Sumerian ark, and the Vedic fire altar.   The Black Stone at Mecca, which is sacred to Moslems, is housed in the Kabah, which literally means ‘cube’.   There are 64 hexagrams in the significant Chinese text, the I Ching and 64 cells on the traditional chessboard.   The term Sacred Geometry is used by archaeologists, anthropologists, and geometricians to encompass the religious, philosophical, and spiritual beliefs that have sprung up around geometry, in various cultures during the course of human history.  The sacred geometry shapes are found everywhere in nature and reveal the concept of oneness through geometry. “Meditate on the symbols I give thee.  Keys are they, though hidden from men” [Emerald tablet of Thoth].
