Skills:

I believe I have good communication skills in my last Job I worked closely with management, QA and our engineering team in order to achieve maximum capacity with maximum quality. This involved organising evaluations and reporting results on an on-going basis. I have also had meetings with tester manufactures to discuss our particular requirements and any problems we may have had both in house and in Japan.

I have always been able to work in a flexible environment, this as can be seen from my work experience since college, I had no problem in transferring departments where necessary in order to meet with the changing business situation. In Feb 2001 PNY began upgrading the office PC network from old P133 Pc's running WinNT4 to PIII650 PC's, because of my knowledge of PC hardware and software I was asked to help migrate from the NT4 systems to the win 200 systems. This involved setting up the network parameters, exchanging any hardware required setting up printers configuring the hosts’ files and setting up Lotus notes on the local machines.

I have a wide knowledge base when it comes to software and hardware here is a list of some of the packages and applications known to me most training was delivered in house or was self thought.

Windows 9x/ME (Very high Knowledge level High knowledge user and administrator)

Windows 2000 (High knowledge user and administrator)

UNIX (Good User knowledge and Basic administrator)

In packages I have a very good knowledge up to macro writing level of Access and Excel 97. I also have a very good knowledge or Word97 and PowerPoint. In programming I have used and have a very good knowledge of Visual Basic 4 and 5 and have used Windldr (IDEC PLC programming software). I have used MS FrontPage, Cute FTP, FTP, Paint shop Pro, Lotus Notes, Lotus CC-mail Lotus Smart-suite and PC-Anywhere.

I have also worked on an Oracle7 database performing maintenance and basic administration. I have also just completed a contract for one of the top Independent radio stations in Ireland helping to install music servers and a computer play-out system for all music.
