Travelling
We participate in a lot of rallies every year in Ireland from one end of the country to the other. We just participated the "No Hopers Rally" in Tralee and it was a lovely spin down and the weather was brilliant for the weekend. It was over two nights. It was twenty euro for the weekend. We all had a great time. |
We are one of the
most well-known clubs in Ireland. We support a lot of clubs as well.
F.I.M Rally 2002 Denmark
Some of
the club travel to a rally in Denmark last year me included.
We went to Dublin caught a ferry over to Britain and then another to
Holland. We spent our first few
nights in a campsite near the town of Melle in Germany.
We were treated like kings by the people of the campsite then we drove
our bikes to a town called Allborg in Denmark we stayed in the campsite provided
by those taking part in the rally. We
were there for a week. We had to do
some parades during our stay. We
drank a lot of the local nectar, it was hard going but someone had to do it. We spent some time after the rally touring around Denmark and
the people are some of the nicest you could meet. The scenery was all very nice.
We went to Copenhagen and saw the mermaid on her rock but we had to leave
the people of Denmark behind and make our way back to Holland to meet some of my
friends and had a few more bottles that night.
We had to catch a ferry back to Britain a few days later and we almost missed it. It was a long spin back across England to get out ferry the morning after. In all it took 18 days of road and partying and a good rest was needed when we got home. |
