When the body is in harmony with the brain, there is little or no stress involved in raising one's arm, or in keeping it raised.

To determine whether a specific action/thought or emotion causes stress we use a slight pressure on the outstretched arm.

If the arm drops despite the desire to keep it up by the person holding out their arm, then we see this as a sign that the action/ thought / emotion has caused a stress.

If the arm does not drop we would interpret this as the action/ thought or emotion not causing a stress.
