The Ernest Ruckle CD

The images on this web site are smaller, highly-compressed versions of images obtained by scanning slides and photographs of the original works, and, in a few cases, by directly scanning the original works.

The Ernest Ruckle CD-ROM contains larger, clearer, less highly-compressed versions of all the images on the website, and many more--over 1200 in all. Although the photography is of uneven quality, there are many excellent images suitable for full-page high-resolution prints. The CD also includes a screensaver, a slideshow program, and the 216 images needed to make a high-quality giant reproduction of "The EuroDisney Triptych".

This web site contains about 17 MB of images. The CD contains about 610 MB and is in HTML format (like a large web site). Although it's optimized for Windows PCs running Internet Explorer 6, most Macintosh computers should also be able to read it.
