The objects of the Club shall be:

 
  • To encourage and promote an appreciation of pedigree cats and their proper welfare, breeding and exhibition.
  • To stimulate and encourage a humane attitude to all cats.
  • To urge all breeders, exhibitors and judges to adopt the type and standard of points approved by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of Ireland (the G.C.C.F.I.)
  • To select people to be trained as judges, subject to the approval of the G.C.C.F.I.
  • To encourage the interest of members in cat shows.
