Our class (sixth) did a project on Transport.

Julie, Sinead, Louisa, Katie and Roslyn studied the Titanic. We looked up books to find just the right information. We thought it was dreadful that there were not enough lifeboats on board to save all of the people. We also though it was amazing at how much time it took to build the Titanic and the great detail put into its decorating. What we liked best about this project was working together and learning together.
By Sinead.

Robyn, Grace, Cassie, Jackie and Sinead G. also looked up lots of stuff about the Titanic. They started with just a piece of cardboard and transformed it into a colourful boat of Titanic. It took a lot of time to do but it was worth it.

Busses.

Busses are part of Dublin's transportation service. There were 40 new busses put in all over Dublin city for people with physical disablities. The new busses are a lot different from the old busses. There is a lot more space in them. We made this bus from cardboard, news paper, lollypop sticks, paint, paper and other materials.

Airports.

Daniel Karl and Greg were very interested in Aeroplanes and Airports. They built a model of an airport. They used cardboard, paper, tinfoil, crepe paper, PVA glue and paint. The boys found out that big airline companies cannot go out of business. The government won't let them.
