I love football. I play with my school
team and we are very
successful. We wear red jerseys with a navy stripe in the
middle of it. Our trainer's name is Sr. Phil but Gerry helps out too. Last year
the under 11's team won the Kildare championship. I played in all the matches
and captained one of them and I was the highest scorer
throughout the league. It
was a wonderful achievement. We were presented with a shiny silver cup and
lovely decorated medals. We also got gorgeous glass photo-frames with a picture
of the winning team. Later we had a big celebration to mark the victory.
Pupils from 4th 5th and 6th attend training. We train in the pitch at the back
of of or school from 3pm to 4pm twice weekly.
