Spain.
I
have been to Spain five times.
I love Spain because of its fun atmosphere.
Tenerife.
In 1993 when I was three years old I went on my first holiday abroad. I don't
remember much but I have some information on the island. Tenerife, jutting out
of the sea off the Western Coast of Africa, is the largest of the Canary
Islands. It's superb tropical climate, great
beaches, and exotic scenery makes
it a very beautiful island. Volcanic Mount Teide, is the highest in Spain.
Majorca
In 1996 and 1998 I went on my holidays to Majorca. It is one of the three
Balearic Islands on the east coast of Spain. I was in Santa Ponsa, I stayed in
the Surfing Apartments. Santa Ponsa is famous for it's fine sandy
beaches.
Salou.
In 1999 and 2000 I went on my holidays to Salou on my holidays. I love Salou
because it has an excellent theme park called Port Aventura which is owned by
Universal Studios. Salou's main beach is three miles long. Salou has a beautiful
promenade and loads of shops, restaurants and water sports.
Port Aventura is Europe's largest theme park. It lies 10 minutes out of
Salou town. It is divided in five "countries ": Mediterránia, Far
West, China, and Polynesia. Mediterránia has a fine collection of restaurants,
shops, boats and scenery. Polynesia has a variety of rides such as Tukiki
Splash, Tami Tami, Bora Bora, Sea Odyssey and many more. Every hour there
is a brilliant show performed by natives of Polynesia. China town is really
cool, I felt like I was really in China. China has a variety of shows, shops,
rides and arcades. Europe's largest rollarcoaster Dragon Khang is in China Town.
It has more than eight loops one after the other. Mexico is like Mediterránia.
It has a collection of shops, restaurants and only a couple of rides. Far
West was my favourite part of Port Aventura because I felt like I really was in
the Far West. It had big steak houses, a western school, a cowboy graveyard,
loads of stalls, rides such as Rapids, Hobby horses Water Log and many more.
