Ashlea

Hi, I'm Ashlea.

I love Football, Basketball and Soccer.  I am on the School Basketball Team.

I am from South East London in England and I moved to Ireland in April 1999 when I was 11 so I am going to tell you some things about -

Big Ben the famous clock.
The Wax Museum to see many wonderful wax models of famous people
The Britain at War Museum to go back in time and see what it was like in World War II
London Dungeon for a scary surprise

Here are a few differences between my school in England and my school here in Ireland.

In England we had a cafeteria where we could get a hot meal with a pudding, a drink and salad  all for £1.20.  We could also bring a packed lunch. Now I bring a packed lunch every day.
In England we had assembly every morning for half an hour and we sang songs and one of the teachers sometimes read us a story. Here  we have assembly on special/religious occasions.
Our school hours were longer, we started school at 8:55am and we finished at 3:35pm.
In England we went to Primary School for 7 years and in Ireland you go to Primary School for 8 years.
A good thing was that we only got one sheet of homework on a Wednesday and it had to be in on the following Monday.
