Hamsters

 I have a pet and I named her Tarzan.

She is a hamster.

 I am going to tell you all about hamsters.

Hamsters have an interesting habit.

They love to store food in their pockets.

These fat faced rodents are real little hoarders.

They are even built to hoard.

A hamster has large pouches around its cheeks that hold a surprising amount of food , it tries to gather as much of it as it can.

It stuffs food away even when it is not hungry.

When it has packed its pouches full, it carries the food to a hiding place.

After it has stored this food away, it quickly goes back for another load. Later on at night the hamster digs up the stored food and nibbles away. Surprisingly, it eats only what it needs.

My hamster loves playing around in its ball. 

I bought my hamster in Portlaoise Pet Shop.

It cost £45 to buy my hamster with everything included.

I absolutely love playing with my hamster.
