St. John Of God

St.John of God is a resource centre. It has a school for people with mental
and physical disabilities. It also has a swimming pool which people
attending St.John of God can use. Children from the community of
Celbridge use the swimming pool also. St. John of god has a beautiful
church with a lovely choir, which members of the community and St. John
of God partake. St.John of God also provide residential care.At Christmas
Santa comes to all the children in a helicopter and gives them presents. On
Christmas Eve there is a big mass, with lovely music and lovely singing.
There are plays on all year round which lots of people attend. The person
who is responsible for this is Brother Gregory. He is a wonderful person,
very kind to all members of the St. John of God community.
