We believe that close cooperation between the school staff and the parents of our students is vital to achieving our common ideal: to help our young people grow to maturity and achieve their full potential.
The school is administered by a board of management, consisting of eight members, under the current chairmanship of Sr. Eucharia Ryan of the Mercy Order. Other members are: three appointees of the School Trustees (Mercy Order), two members from the school teaching staff and two parents of students currently attending the school.
The Principal, Mrs. Elizabeth Flanagan, oversees the ordinary administration of the school, with the Deputy Principal, Mrs. Mairéad Kearns. Specialist tasks are the responsibility of Assistant Principals and Special Duties administrators chosen from the teaching staff.
Each Final Year (Sixth Year) group elects four prefects, a Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl to represent them for that year. The other year groups elect a Prefect and Sub-Prefect to represent each class group. The First Year students rotate prefects on a regular basis, to enable every student experience the responsibility of the representative role.
